Elion turns the Kubuqi Desert into an oasis (1)

In Kubuqi, Wang Wenbiao, Chairman of Elion Resources Group, skillfully wielded his shovel and dug a hole in the sand. He planted a euphrates poplar sapling with a water retention device in the hole, poured two buckets of water into the device, and covered it with sand. Holding the sapling, he proudly introduced Elion’s new technological invention that has been used in more than 200 desertification control and tree planting projects. Born on the edge of the Kubuqi Desert, Wang Wenbiao has been engaged in his tree planting mission for 29 years. [Photo by Yang Jia]
