WANG Guoqing

Wang Guoqing, male, of Han nationality, is a CPC member with a bachelor’s degree. He is former deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Committee of CPPCC and former director of the State Council Information Office of the People’s Republic of China.

From April 1978 to November 2000, he had worked at the China Radio International successively as an editor, deputy group leader, group leader, deputy director of the English Department, chief correspondent in Washington, D.C., assistant to the director of the station (including the experience of being director of the English Department and director of the Personnel Department), deputy director of the station and member of the Branch Leading Party Member’s Group;

From November 2000 to March 2013, he served as deputy director of the State Council Information Office of the People’s Republic of China.

From March 2013 to March 2018, he worked as deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the 12th National Committee for the CPPCC.
