Men Lijun, male, of Han nationality, is a CPC member. He graduated from the Department of History in Shandong University with a bachelor’s degree.
From August 1987 to August 1989, he worked as an editor in the International Edition office of the People’s Publishing House;
From August 1989 to November 2013, he worked at the General Administration of Press and Publication, and had served successively as deputy director of Cadre Division of Personnel Education Department, director and deputy director-general of the Publication Market Supervision Bureau, deputy director-general of Comprehensive Service Department and deputy director of Newspaper Department;
From November 2013 to October 2014, he served as deputy director of the News Department of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of the People’s Republic of China;
From October 2014 to December 2016, he served as the deputy director of the Education and Training Center of the General Administration of Press and Publication, and the secretary of the Leading Party Member’s Group;
From December 2016 to November 2018, he worked in the Research Institute (Training Center) of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of the People’s Republic of China, and had served as secretary of the Branch Leading Party Member’s Group, president (director) of the Institute, and secretary of the Party committee;
From November 2018 to April 2019, he worked in the National Publicity Cadre Academy, serving as executive deputy secretary and vice president of the Academy (leading roles of bureaus or equivalents).
He has been the director of the Center of Human Rights Development and Communication of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the CPC from April 2019 to now.
