Huang Jin, male, of Han nationality, is a CPC member. He is a bachelor of laws from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, a doctor of international law from Wuhan University, and the former president of China University of Political Science and Law..

He is currently vice-chairman of China Law Society, chairman of China Society of International Law, chairman of China Society of Private International Law, and vice-chairman of China Foundation for Human Rights Development.

From March 1978 to January 1982, he studied law at Hubei University of Finance and Economics (now Zhongnan University of Economics and Law) and obtained a bachelor’s degree of law;

From February 1982 to February 1988, he studied international law at Wuhan University and obtained a master’s degree of law and doctorate of law;

From December 1984 to February 2009, he worked at Wuhan University, and had served successively as teaching assistant, lecturer, associate professor, professor, associate dean of the School of Law, director of the Institute of International Law, assistant to the president, assistant to the president and director of the Academic Affairs Department, director of the Institute of Higher Education, vice president of Wuhan University and member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee;

From February 2009 to May 2019, he worked at China University of Political Science and Law and served as president and member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee.
