the United Nations Human Rights Council adopted resolutions proposed by China

In 2017 and 2019, the United Nations Human Rights Council adopted resolutions proposed by China entitled “The Contribution of Development to the Enjoyment of All Human Rights,” highlighting the importance of development to the promotion and protection of human rights. China has attended three cycles of Universal Periodic Reviews of the Human Rights Council since 2009. An absolute majority of countries recognize China’s human rights achievement and its contribution to the global cause of human rights. (CMG/Zhang Jinghao)
