Complementary solar-agriculture projects boost rural vitalization in Hebei

In recent years, Nangong city, Hebei province, has been exploring a development model involving “photovoltaic power + agriculture” and has actively been promoting projects that are based on it in order to promote the comprehensive usage of the land in its borders. The 150 MW’s worth of photovoltaic arrays that have been developed in conjunction with farming endeavors thus far have helped villagers increase their incomes, led to the creation of more jobs, and promoted rural vitalization in the area.
