Tourism industry boosts rural vitalization in Gansu

Kangxian county, Longnan city, Gansu province, has been promoting the standardized development of rural tourism offerings that take advantage of the unique natural and cultural resources that exist in its borders since the beginning of the year.

Infrastructure has been upgraded and transformed; featured inns and bed and breakfasts have been established; agritainment activities have been created; and supporting industries have been strengthened in rural tourism demonstration villages, such as Hejiazhuang, Zhujiagou, Fuba, and Huaqiao, and other parts of the county in order to attract greater numbers of visitors, enhance their experiences, help countryside residents increase their incomes and bolster rural vitalization.
