Collective economy promotes rural revitalization in Chongqing’s Tongnan district

In 2020, Chongqing Liangeng Agricultural Development Co. Ltd. was established in Shuangjiang town, Tongnan district, Chongqing municipality, and began implementing an operations model that involves transforming rural resources into assets, capital into equity and farmers into shareholders.The Shuangjiang government has encouraged all of the 21 villages and communities under its administration to develop their collective economies by growing pumpkins, Sichuan peppers, a variety of plum that is ideal for processing known as the Nangao plum, and other crops and to engage in business relationships with the company in order to promote rural revitalization.
