Chinese companies build 'green cities' in Saudi Arabian desert

The King Salman Energy Park is a green project located in the middle of the Saudi Arabian desert. The natural conditions here are harsh, and from March to November, its temperature sometimes exceeds 56°C, and the wind speed can reach 40 kilometers per hour. More than 500 Chinese and local construction workers from China Railway Construction Corporation Limited International (CRCCI) are working here. This mega project is expected to accommodate 300 industrial and service facilities and bring 100,000 jobs.
