H.E. Mr. CHEN Zhigang

H.E. Mr. CHEN Zhigang, Vice Minister, the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development (LGOP), the People’s Republic of China 

H.E. Mr. CHEN Zhigang, born in Jiangxi Province in September 1960, has become the Vice Minister of the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development (LGOP), People’s Republic of China since November, 2016. He used to be Secretary-General of the Communist Party Committee of Tongzi County, of Zunyi County and of Bijie City in Guizhou Province. He also has been served as the Director of the Bureau of Communication and Transportation of the Guizhou Province. Long been working in the poor areas in China, he has rich theoretical accumulation and practical experience in promoting socio-economic development of poor areas and improving people’s well-being.
