MCC Group donates medical supplies to various countries

The China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC Group) recently donated medical supplies to Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Papua New Guinea in order to help them fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The MCC Group donated emergency relief supplies, including 100,000 face masks and 50,000 pairs of surgical gloves, to Sri Lanka on April 1, 2020. Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa received the consignment and expressed his gratitude to the company.

The MCC Group donated 155 boxes of COVID-19 prevention supplies to Islamabad, Pakistan’s capital, on April 1. The nation had been facing a severe shortage of necessary materials. Two hundred thousand face masks, 4,000 nucleic acid detection kits, 2,000 protective suits, 2,000 pairs of goggles, 100 thermometer guns, and several boxes of medication were included in the shipment.

The MCC Group donated 1,000 N95 masks, 500 nucleic acid detection kits, 1000 pairs of surgical gloves, and 30 thermometer guns to Kabul, Afghanistan’s capital, on April 2.
The company also decided to donate 100,000 surgical masks to Papua New Guinea’s government to support the nation’s citizens and medical staff in their battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.
