Industries with local characteristics boost employment in Shiquan county

Shiquan is located near the Qinling-Daba mountains in northwest China and has been developing industries with local characteristics,such as silk production, farming and agricultural processing, and ecotourism, in order to create more employment opportunities in the area so that people can escape from poverty and increase their incomes.The administrative area was removed from the national list of impoverished counties in February of 2020 as a result of its new found prosperity.(Xinhua/Zhang Bowen)
