Yunnan's Diqing prefecture engages in poverty alleviation, COVID-19 prevention

The prefecture is located in southwest China and borders Sichuan province and Tibet autonomous region. Various COVID-19 prevention and control measures have been adopted in the region, such as utilization of a QR code system to keep track of people’s health information, regular disinfection of public areas, and implementation of employee health checks at businesses and other organizations. Actions have also been taken to end poverty amidst the battle against the epidemic.
