Eliminating poverty in Yang county via cuniculture industry

Beiliang resident Zhao Shitou disinfects rabbit hutches on March 15, 2020. He raised more than 400 female rabbits in 2019, which resulted in about 80,000 yuan (US$11,402) of net income. The industrious farmer has also served as a technical advisor for Beiliang’s cuniculture cooperative, provided assistance with sales, and helped 11 impoverished households in the area raise more than 8,000 rabbits.
