Operations resume at demonstration bases that employ women in Guangxi

More than 60 demonstration bases that were developed for the purpose of helping women escape from poverty in Rongshui Miao autonomous county, Guangxi province have recently come back online after their operations were temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The Rongshui Women’s Federation has engaged in poverty alleviation work geared towards women in the county over the course of the last few years. Various enterprises have pursued agriculture, animal husbandry, embroidery, agritainment, and other undertakings at the demonstration bases. They employ more than 10,000 impoverished women, which makes it possible for them to escape from poverty and increase their incomes.
