Xinjiang villagers enjoy new housing, infrastructure

“Now I can walk only a few hundred of meters to go to school from home, and drink the sweet water everyday,” the primary school pupil said.
Yutian is a major poverty-stricken county supported in Xinjiang by Tianjin municipality.
Tianjin’s front headquarters in Xinjiang has also supported local governments cooperate in raising goats and sheep, planting crops and enhancing tourism to help develop the local economy and shake off poverty.
Meanwhile, the Tianjin municipal government has invested in rebuilding 11 houses in the village into homestays to help the township develop tourism.
“2020 is the key year and key point of poverty alleviation, and I believe the life of the families in Dariyabui township will become better and better,” said Jia Cunpeng, Party chief of the township.
