Themed“Poverty Elimination: Seeking Common Development to Build a Community of Shared Future for Human Beings,” the two-day forum aims to facilitate international cooperation on human rights protection and experience sharing.
Plenary presentations and group discussions are scheduled to focus on four sub topics: poverty elimination and the realization of the rights to subsistence and development; the thought, achievements, and experience of China in poverty elimination and its significance to human rights; international cooperation and human rights protection in poverty alleviation; building a community of shared future for human beings and human rights protection.
The forum, which was first organized by the CSHRS in Beijing in 2008, is jointly hosted by China Society for Human Rights Studies and China Foundation for Human Rights Development.
