The first "South-South Human Rights Forum" opened in Beijing on December 7th, 2017. Themed "Building a Community of Shared Future for Human Beings: New Opportunity for South-South Human Rights Development", the forum gathered more than 300 representatives from over 70 countries and international organizations to discuss human right issues in developing countries and the world in six parallel sessions.
Participants in South-South Human Rights Forum said that the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind reflects the expectation of many countries, meets the interests of the international community and gains more support in the world.
