The Indonesian bridge linking Surabaya of Java Island and Madura Island comes into use, June 10, 2009. The bridge stretches 5,438 meters, ranking as the longest sea bridge in Southeast Asia. It was contracted and designed by Chinese companies and jointly built by Chinese and Indonesian companies. (CCCC)
