With an area of more than 20m2, Wang Zhenhua’s sitting room is tall, spacious and bright, showing that they are no longer in poverty. Wang and his wife take care of about 1.31 acres of land, including 0.49 acre of paddy field, 0.49 acre of peach trees and 0.33 acres of chili crops. They also raise chickens, ducks, cows and pigs. With their diligent and capable hands, it is estimated that they earned at least 80,000 yuan (U.S. $11,700) in 2015. Poverty alleviation policy warms the hearts of people like Wang, who express profound gratitude for the CPC and its support. [Photo by Wang Ziqin]
