Benefiting from May's timely rainfalls, Tongliao, a granary of eastern Inner Mongolia, has entered the peak period of corn sowing. It is reported that Tongliao's corn planting area in 2025 is expected to reach 20 million mu (approximately 1.33 million hectares), an increase of 180,000 mu (12,000 hectares) compared to the previous year.
