In the early winter season, fishermen in Jimo district of Qingdao, Shandong province, are taking advantage of the cool and sunny weather to cut, pickle, dry and process freshly caught sea fish. These sun-dried fish products are then sold to markets across the country, providing an additional source of income for the fishermen.

This traditional method preserves the fish and enhances their flavor, making them a popular delicacy.
