Vitalized rural communities emerge amidst charming, picturesque landscapes in Yunnan’s Nujiang prefecture

In recent years, in the process of consolidating and expanding upon the poverty alleviation achievements that have been made in its borders and promoting rural vitalization, Yunnan province's Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture has been engaging in a rural vitalization demonstration project in which the emergence of livable, business-friendly hamlets that retain a sense of history and tradition is facilitated by creating100 rural complexes integrating modern agriculture, leisure tourism, and local communities;1,000 high-quality demonstration villages featuring distinctive rural features, industrial development, and contemporary lifestyles; and 10,000 picturesque villages full of prosperity, luxuriant ecology, and harmonious coexistence between people and nature amidst its lucid waters and lush mountains in addition to initiatives to develop demonstration towns and thriving border villages.
