Xu Mingmei is one of the people who contracts greenhouses in Wenjiazhangzi. She and her husband own little arable land, and his parents suffer from chronic diseases. The couple discussed the situation and eventually decided to get involved with the village’s greenhouses in January 2018. They currently grow crops in four of them, which has helped the family become much more prosperous and even made it possible for them to buy a car in March 2019.
