Binhai township, Zhanhua district, Binzhou city, Shandong province, has been enjoying a bumper crop of brine shrimp recently. Aquaculturalists have been busy harvesting the crustaceans at integrated photovoltaic power generation-shrimp farming sites located in its borders so that they can be sold to the public.
The power arrays increase efficiency by providing shade in addition to generating electricity and income.
