Training center helps people out of poverty in China's Yunnan

Trainees learn knowledge of manual arc welding at a deep poverty-stricken population training center in Zhenyuan Yi and Hani and Lahu Autonomous County of Pu'er City, southwest China's Yunnan Province, Dec. 8, 2019. Zhenyuan Yi and Hani and Lahu Autonomous County established a deep poverty-stricken population training center in October 2017, offering a wide range of training activities. Besides, the moral education of trainees has been combined with skills training lessons, which has made them more qualified for the job market. Since its establishment, the center has trained more than 1,700 trainees. (Xinhua/Hu Chao)
