Poverty alleviation helping the Yao minorities of Guangxi

Guangxi is home to the Yao minority, who have lived in the mountainous regions of this and surrounding provinces for thousands of years.

Not only are the government creating tourist areas like this to help keep the Yao minority’s culture alive and allow people to learn about their traditions, but they are also implementing poverty alleviation methods in the area to help locals lead a better life.
