Themed “Poverty Elimination: Seeking Common Development to Build a Community of Shared Future for Human Beings,” the two-day forum aims to facilitate international cooperation on human rights protection and experience sharing.

First held in 2008, this year's forum is the ninth of its kind and jointly hosted by China Society for Human Rights Studies and China Foundation for Human Rights Development. More than 200 officials, scholars and personages from about 50 countries, regions and international organizations attended.
