Lingfu is a small village with a population of 3,500 people located in Xunwu County that used to be a poverty-stricken part of Jiangxi Province. Back in the 1980s, local authorities promoted the planting of orange trees. Now in Lingfu, there are about 470 hectares of trees that produce 100 million yuan of oranges each year. Local farmers have bid farewell to poverty thanks to these orchards.
