The transformation of Fujian's Xiadang Township

When he was working in Fujian Province, Xi Jinping paid visits to the poverty-stricken people in Xiadang, the most impoverished township in Fujian, for three times, and worked his way to help alleviate poverty. Over the past 30 years, local residents have made persistent efforts to live a better life by selling their local specialties, developing tourism, as well as promoting rural e-commerce.
