A seminar on the creation of China's human rights discourse in the new era was held last Thursday in Changsha, capital city of Hunan province. Experts expressed their views on China's human rights discourse in the new era and global human rights governance at the seminar.
The seminar was co-sponsored by China Society for Human Rights Studies and the Publicity Department of Hunan Province, and organized by the Human Rights Research Center and the Law School of Central of South University.
Lu Zhi’an, executive deputy director and associate professor at the Human Rights Research Center of Fudan University, said setting global human rights agenda could not only draw more attention of the international community to the development of China’s human rights cause, but also help China to make appropriate human rights policies.
