Folk music originates from life. It represents the pure feelings and unyielding hopes of the people. The core spirit of Dadi Music Festival is public interest. More specifically, it is public interest based on mutual help. One example would be musicians who visit villages and construction sites to sing for people living there; on the flipside, the lives of those people inspire the musicians in their work. The festival provides a platform for organizations, musicians, and audiences to work together and achieve benefit for all parties, making it a true case of mutual help–based public interest.
